This Estates of Sunnybrook McLean House Wedding was a beautiful modern wedding at a lush garden venue, and was an unforgettable experience to capture for Amelia and Amir. We experienced some rain, but we were lucky that the venue had plenty of beautiful indoor spots for photos as we waited for the rain to lift to photograph some creative photos outside.
The Mclean House venue at The Estates of Sunnybrook is very picturesque with lined hedges, manicured gardens and, at this time of year, blossoming trees. The grounds and garden areas that were available for photography were all very close by so that we could very easily combine our indoor and outdoor photo time. The Estates of Sunnybrook McLean House is exceptionally romantic . This venue also provides a “one stop shop” location so the bride and groom were able to get ready at the McLean House in the morning. It is always nice to be able to take away any stress of transportation during the day.
Amelia and Amir chose to not have a bridal party and instead allocate more time to mingling with their friends and family throughout cocktail hour and reception. I am loving this new trend because it means I get more time to focus on couple photos followed by lots of candid photos of them with their friends and family. The couple chose beautiful blush pinks and white as their colour scheme. Amelia’s dress was from Sash and Bustle and her shoes were perfectly matched from BHLDN.
