Queen City Yacht Club Wedding Photography.
I have to say, there is something extra awesome about weddings that take place on Toronto island. The views and photo opportunities are insane! Heather and Kevin had their wedding on Toronto island, Wards Island to be exact, and I absolutely loved shooting there.
We started our day by taking the ferry over together so we were sure to capture some cool candids of the ride over.
The bride got ready in a super cute loft cottage called Smiley’s B&B while the groom prepped at Queen City Yacht Club. For their first look, Heather and Kevin walked through the island’s walking paths and met in the middle. It was so romantic, picturesque and laid back as we walked around taking photos.
The flowers were by Sweet Woodruff and I love the eucalyptus accents that she included. It really added to the feeling of this lakeside cottage wedding with the view of Toronto’s stunning skyline in the background. I think it is the perfect mix of two worlds!
