This 99 Sudbury Modern Tropical wedding in Toronto was so much fun to shoot!
A Modern Tropical wedding in Toronto sounds like an oxymoron at first, but once you see the photos you will feel the Tropical vibe in this Northern city! I loved the combination of the lush tropical theme with the industrial chic setting. The couple included several Chinese wedding customs into their day including a traditional Chinese tea ceremony for their closest family and friends, which created a very authentic feel to their wedding. 99 Sudbury has a fantastic urban downtown loft vibe and was the perfect location to shoot this Modern Tropical wedding in Toronto.
The couple chose several different aesthetic elements for their photography locations. All of these elements blended together seamlessly to create a style that was uniquely them! From the exposed brick, to luscious palms and orchids, to the painted mural at the Toronto Carpet Factory … it all worked together beautifully.
The couple did a “First Look” where they saw each privately before the ceremony, which allows the Bride and Groom to have an intimate moment together. This also creates an opportunity for amazing candid photography.
It was predicted to rain on their wedding day, but luckily the sun came out perfectly complementing the tropical vibe. As an avid beach lover myself, it was an absolute pleasure to shoot a wedding with a “destination wedding” vibe even while in the heart of Toronto.
